Cleric Lists Benefits Of Faithfulness To God
The First National Youth Conference of Apostolic Christian Faith Mission ended at Odagwa in Etche local government area, Rivers State Penultimate Sunday with a call on the youths to be faithful in fellowship in order to attract the blessings of God.
The Vice-Bishop of the church, Apostle Livinus Chioma who made the call in a message at the occasion said that they could achieve this by being obedient to God’s commandment and constituted authorities in the country.
Apostle Chioma therefore cited the Bible Book of Exodus Chapter two verse 11 to 14 to buttress his points and urged the youths of the church the shun acts inimical to their growth as future leaders of the church and country as exemplified by moses in the Bible.
Also speaking, Rev Samuel Anero lauded the vision of the present leadership of the youths in the church for organizing the ???? national youth conference of the church.
He therefore challenged them to produce the calendar and Magazine of the church during the annual convention of the church next year.
In a welcome address presented by Odegwa group and read by rev Emma Nwankwo praised the commitment of the youths towards the growth and development of the church. The group lauded the youth body for the choice of the conference titled, speak out and do not be afraid adding that it was carefully selected to encourage the youths on evangelism.
Earlier, the National youths president, of the Conference, Evangelists James Ordu said that the 3-day national youth conference of the church was organized to equip the youth on the challenges of being a tool in wining more soul for Jesus Christ.
He used the opportunity to urged the youths of the church to always be Christ like in order to be good ambassadors of God in their generation.
Evangelist Ordu thanked the church authorities for their support for the successful convention of the conference and pledged continued assistance of the youths towards the development of the church in the country.
Highpoint of the conference was the launching of the conference magazine and prayer of stability and unity of the country due to the seemingly threat of lives and propriety in some parts of the country.
