Lawmaker Tasks Amaechi On Projects Completion

tional Assembly representing Obio/Akpor federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon Kingsley Chindah, advised Governor Chubuike Amaechi to consolidate on the gains of his administration by completing on-going projects in the state. Hon Chindah Ogunda Kingsley who stated this last Monday, while speaking to journalist in Port Harcourt noted that the success of council in the last National Assembly elections was due to the excellent good performance of the Governor Amaechi’s administration, adding that the achievements were made possible by the new political direction in the state.

He disclosed that a bill revise the situation was in the offing, so that states and Local Government areas in the country would be given affair share of the nation’s revenue to enable them address development challenges in the local and state levels. The federal lawmaker described the business of law making as tasking and challenging, assuring that representatives from the state have resolved to give the people quality representation.
Mr Chindah announced that to filfull his campaign promises, he had established what he called Obio/Akpor Embassy in Abuja. He contended that over 28 persons from the areas have already benefited from the services of the Embassy while plans were on to economically empower unemployed youths.
The lawmaker stressed the need for the federal government to be alive to its responsibilities by ensuring the security of lives and properties of its citizenry.
