IAUOE Screens Candidates For Admission, Sept 11
The authorities of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUOE) Rumuoluemi, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, say it will begin the screening exercise for prospective students of Unified tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) who chose the school as their first choice and scored 120 marks and above from Monday, September 11, 2017.
A statement from the University signed by the Acting Registrar, Hope Kue-Ikoro, also said that the screening include those prospective students who may not have chosen the university but are interested in studying at the institution.
According to the statement, the screening exercise will start from Monday, September 11, 2017 to Monday 25,2017 at the university auditorium, main campus Rumuolumeni Port Harcourt, at 8am prompt adding that prospective students are to pay the sum of N2,000 as the cost of the screening exercise.
The statement further added that those interested should register for the screening online at the university web site at www.lauoe.edu.ng as well as other details of the screening exercise as published in The Tide Edition of Friday, August, 2017.

Education Commissioner Seeks media collaboration in Rivers
The River State Commissioner for Education, Dr Peters Nwagor has called on media practitioners in Rivers State to deploy their various communication platforms toward promoting government programmes and policies aimed at achieving sustainable development in the education sector.
