17 Ships Berth AT PH Port
A total of 17 ships are expected to berth at the Port Harcourt Port, Area one from January 16 and today.
A Nigeria Port Authority (NPA) Daily shipping position made available to The Tide correspondent said the vessel ere carrying bags of rice, Bulk Cement, frozen fish, bulk wheat, General Cargo, Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK), Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), Tallow, Naphtta, Gasoline, and Bitumen.
The Tide correspondent gathered that Maritime Unity and Christo Theo shipped in rice in bags, Wind Forest and Green Maloy brought in Frozen fish and Jimil Ta II came into the port with bulk cement while Daniela brought in General Cargo, among others.
The Authority said 16 vessels had earlier arrived at the Port as well as Gendade, Desert Peace and Eguator while Ishatar and Hana are to follow. It was gathered that two vessels, Hajura and Coloso Tres are being detained at Bonny River for violating Maritime order.
Meanwhile, no vessels or ships are awaiting at fairway buoy.
