Firm Empowers 500 Through Micro Credit
The management of Flexus Global Solutions Investment Limited says no fewer than 500 persons have benefitted from the firm’s micro credit scheme to small business owners within its two years in operation.
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr Kounougna Henri, disclosed this Saturday at the commissioning of the firm’s Fleet Services, Professional Car Wash and Flexus Restaurant in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.
Explaining that beneficiaries of the scheme cut across diverse business concerns, he reiterated the commitment of the company to directly touching lives of the people in the society through encouraging their small businesses to grow.
He said, as a financial administrator, Flexus Global Solution encourages people to come together, pool funds together and make the fund available to those in need to go into business ventures or expand their existing businesses.
Henri noted that the unique advantage people have is that the firm provides them financial assistance without demanding from them any interest, stressing that the firm is all about the people’s welfare.
The Managing Director explained that the company deemed it necessary to expand its transport section into fleet operations to enable those members who benefited from the hire purchase scheme to expand to higher level.
According to him, the fleet, at present is limited to Lagos and Abuja routes but it would offer exclusive services to customers, as well as provide excellent parcel delivery services.
Other areas the company inaugurated included dock engineering services to encourage people own quality low cost houses at affordable cost, quality water.
He said, the firm has provided employment for 25 persons and that with its new expansion into other concerns, more persons would be provided employment opportunities and urged investors to take advantage of the services to grow their business.
Henri who also noted that instead of investors to dump their money into the bank where they remain dormant, it makes more business sense to pool the fund together to enable others use such fund and develop businesses as well as increase the monetary value to the owner of the fund.
Some of the beneficiaries commended the management of the company for the opportunity and revealed that its services had improved their businesses.

BVN Enrolments Rise 6% To 67.8m In 2025 — NIBSS
The Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) has said that Bank Verification Number (BVN) enrolments rose by 6.8 per cent year-on-year to 67.8 million as at December 2025, up from 63.5 million recorded in the corresponding period of 2024.
In a statement published on its website, NIBSS attributed the growth to stronger policy enforcement by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the expansion of diaspora enrolment initiatives.
NIBSS noted that the expansion reinforces the BVN system’s central role in Nigeria’s financial inclusion drive and digital identity framework.
Another major driver, the statement said, was the rollout of the Non-Resident Bank Verification Number (NRBVN) initiative, which allows Nigerians in the diaspora to obtain a BVN remotely without physical presence in the country.
A five-year analysis by NIBSS showed consistent growth in BVN enrolments, rising from 51.9 million in 2021 to 56.0 million in 2022, 60.1 million in 2023, 63.5 million in 2024 and 67.8 million by December 2025. The steady increase reflects stronger compliance with biometric identity requirements and improved coverage of the national banking identity system.
However, NIBSS noted that BVN enrolments still lag the total number of active bank accounts, which exceeded 320 million as of March 2025.
The gap, it explained, is largely due to multiple bank accounts linked to single BVNs, as well as customers yet to complete enrolment, despite the progress recorded.
