FRSC Convicts 783 Traffic Offenders …Promotes 442

Safety Commission has promoted 442 Marshal Inspectors in line with the commitment of the commission to reward efficiency and punish indiscipline in the Service.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Head of Media Relations and Strategy of the FRSC, Bisi Kazeem and made available to newsmen in Abuja.
According to Kazeem, the commission promoted 442 personnel within the ranks of Deputy Chief Inspector and Marshal Inspector III.
He said, “at the end of the last promotion exercise, 38 Deputy Chief Inspectors were promoted to the rank of Chief Inspector, while 80 Assistant Chief Inspectors got promoted to the rank of Deputy Chief Inspector.
“Also, 66 Principal Marshal Inspectors were promoted to the rank of Assistant Chief Inspector, while 77 Senior Marshal Inspectors moved to Principal Marshal Inspectors.”
Kazeem added that 85 Marshal Inspectors I were promoted to the rank of Senior Marshal Inspector, while 82 Marshal Inspectors II were promoted to Marshal Inspectors I.

Kazeem added that the Corps Marshal of the commission, Boboye Oyeyemi advising the officers t be more efficient and dedicated to duty at all time.
our Correspondent recalls that the Presidency recently approved the promotion of over 900 officers below the rank of Corps Commanders to boost the morale of the FRSC personnel.
Meanwhile, 200 mobile Courts, set up by the commission, for end-of-year patrols, have so far convicted 783 out 878 traffic offenders and discharged 95.
The commission in a statement advised motorists and other road users to obey road traffic signs and avoid over-speeding and loading and warned against reckless driving.
