Samsung’ll Keep Re-Defining Mobile Telephony – CEO
The Managing Director of Samsung Electronics West Africa, Mr Brovo Kim, has said that the company would not relent in re-defining mobile telephony with innovative technology.
Kim gave the pledge in a statement obtained by newsmen in Lagos.
He said that distance and location were no longer barriers in communication, noting that people could keep in contact, share photos, enjoy music and videos anytime, anywhere.
Kim said that Samsung had unveiled its most advanced smart phones into the Nigerian market to redefine the experience of telephone users in the country.
He said that successors to the Galaxy S5 which was released in 2014, the Galaxy S6 edge and S6 duos, were blends of premium components with the most advanced Samsung technology.
The managing director said that the phones were imbued with incredibly intelligent cameras and had set a new industry standard for design, craftsmanship and performance.
“Smartphone technology has transformed dreams of the future into reality.
“Our potential for innovation is unlimited and when combined with our dreams, there is endless scope for the future to quickly become the present.
“The new Galaxy S6 edge and S6 duos highlight the most refined phone experience ever by combining the latest technology that users expect from Samsung’s Galaxy series.
“Samsung is commitment to fulfilling its brand promise of inspiring the world and creating the future by bringing new and outstanding innovations to the doorstep of consumers.
“Our innovative technology has adequately captured customers’ aspirations and desires,” he said.
Mr Emmanouil Revmatas, the Director of Hand-Held Products for Samsung Electronics West Africa, described the new range of Galaxy series as testament to Samsung’s leadership and innovation in the smartphone market.
Revmatas said that the Galaxy S6 edge and S6 duos featured the best displays in a smartphone, along with the best camera and best build quality.
He said that the devices were a blend of beauty and power comparable to a piece of fine jewelry, a premium accessory.
“We have been pushing the boundaries of designs and user experience of smartphones, bringing new and meaningful innovations to consumers by developing best-in-class products to meet their ever changing needs.”
