Customs Zone A Decorates 126 Officers
The Zonal Coordinator,
Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Zone “A” Lagos, Assistant Comptroller – General (ACG), Victor Gbemudu on Tuesday decorated 126 officers of the zone, promoted in the recent exercise.
Of the number, 19 were promoted to the rank of Comptrollers, 53 Deputy Comptrollers, 54 Assistant Comptrollers, including other ranks.
Those who made the comptrollers rank include, Nakwaasah Otuah, Mohammed Amazam, Babatel Umar, Tade Adetoye, DC Nkemdirim Emmanuel.
While commending the management for its commitment to professionalism, productivity and satisfaction in the service, Gbemudu also expressed happiness with the number of officers in his zone that scaled the promotion hurdle.
He urged the newly promoted officers to see their new ranks as a call to greater national responsibility, and enjoined the Comptrollers cadre particularly to reciprocate the confidence reposed on them by putting in their utmost best.
It was a moment of joy as the newly promoted officers expressed their appreciation to the Controller General of Customs, Alhaji Dikko Abdullahi Inde and his management team for the success of the promotion exercise.
