Uchendu ’Il Win Rivers East Senatorial Election – APC Chieftain
A chieftain of the All
Progressives Congress (APC) in Emohua local government area, Mr. Wahua Nhebeka has rated very high the chances of Chief Andrew Uchendu winning the forth-coming Rivers East Senatorial Election.
Chief Uchendu, a member representing Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives is seeking to represent the Rivers East Senatorial Zone on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Speaking to newsmen in Port Harcourt, Mr. Nhebeka said that the numerous projects attracted by Chief Uchendu as a member of the House of Representatives has created a brighter opportunity for him to emerge as the next senator to represent Rivers East in the upper chamber of the National Assembly.
He listed some of the projects attracted by Chief Uchendu to include the construction of water projects of Oduoha-Ogbakiri, Rumuche-Emohua, Ovago and Rumuodogo II in Odegu, construction of primary schools at Mgbueto Emohua IPO and Omademe in Ikwerre Local Government Area as well as the construction of national skills acquisition centre in Elele.
The APC chieftain said that apart from the numerous projects, he sited in all parts of his constituency, the senatorial aspirant has also sponsored numerous bills in the national assembly.
He said that Chief Uchendu has endeared himself not only to the people of Ikwerre and Emohua but to other ethnic groups in the Rivers East Senatorial zone through his activities as the leader of the Rivers caucus in the national assembly.
