While reiterating that his mission is to ensure security of lives and property in the state, he promised to visit the chiefs in their palaces to familiarize with them as well as have a first hand knowledge of their security challenges.
Responding, Chairman of Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers, King Godwin N. K. Gininwa thanked the Comissioner for the respect accorded them and noted that already, the Council has a working relationship with the police.
Gininwa who is also the Gbenemene Tai described the CP as a man who has come to do practical policing, adding that the council is ready to give him the necessary assistance to succeed in his assignment.
He urged the police boss to cooperate with the governor in maintaining peace in the state while urging traditional rulers to expose criminal elements in their respective domains to the police.
