The Tide Editor Mourns Step Father
Burial of step father of Mr
Soye Wilson Jamabo, The Tide Editor/Director, Rivers State Newspaper Corporation, publishers of The Tide Newspapers, Pa Dennis Sekidinka Agama, holds tomorrow, at Okrika.
A statement signed by the chief mourner, Mr Blessing Agama on behalf of the Ile-Oruwari and Ogboru War Canoe Houses of Okrika and Ogoloma respectively, states that the interment will be preceded by an open air service by the Mighty Wonderful Church of God, Ogoloma District, at the Okrika National School Field, Okrika.
During his lifetime, Late Pa Sekidinka was a devout Christian and a community leader whose humility, love and empathy with the down-trodden endeared him to all who came in contact with him.
He is survived by three children, three step children, among whom is The Tide Editor, Mr Jamabo, grand children, great grand children, and a host of other relations too numerous to mention.
In a tribute, Mr Jamabo described Pa Sekidinka as a true epitome of fatherhood, that is a rare commodity in our clime.
