Onyesoh Hails 17th National Sports Festival Hosting
Former Sports Commissioner in Rivers State, Allwel Onyesoh has commended the state government for the apparent commitment to hosting a great National Sports Festival.
Onyesoh who has been watching some of the events at the on-going fiesta said the state government has demonstrated willingness to make the Garden City Games a reference point in the history of the National Sports Festival.
He added that given what he has seen so far, “we are in for a great sports fiesta”.
Onyesoh also charged sports administrators in Rives State to leverage on the expected lasting gains of the on-going festival to chart a glorious future for Rivers athletes and sports development in the state.
