Flying Eagles Target Double Victory Over Guinea, Today
The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will today in Conakry try to survive the fury of their Guinean counterparts in the race for the 2011 African Youth Championship, AYC, as they clash in the second leg of the qualifying series.
A forthnight ago, the Flying Eagles beat the Guineans 2-0 in Abuja, in keenly contested first leg encounter.
According to Coach John Obuh, the match was a very difficult experience, especially, after the video clips of the opponents gave them wrong impression of the team.
Today, however, Obuh promised to adopt a new strategy that would ensure the Eagles subdue their hosts in their own back yard.
Also, Striker Ahmed Musa and his team mates have vowed to overwhelm the stubborn Guineans in order to assert their superiority in the tie.
Indeed, the encounter is poised for a titanic clash because, the hosts, who plan to take the game to a sandy pitch, had vowed to do everything to upstage Nigerian in the tie.
Coach Obuh and his wards had been in Conakry since Monday preparing for the match and should silence the hosts at the end of 90 minutes
