Obuh Cries Out For Fund
Enugu Rangers coach
John Obuh, has warned his team are headed for disaster if they do not clear the new players they signed for the forthcoming season.
Rangers beat FC Taraba 2-1 last Sunday in a pre-season friendly with Obuh writing off his team’s second-half performance after his new signings had posted a fine showing in the first 45 minutes.
“We had a very good first-half with some of the new players, but the second half with most of the old players was a complete disappointment”, blasted the former Nigeria U-20 coach.
“I just hope that finance is made available for the clearance of these new players or else we will have some problems at the start of the season”.
Goalkeeper Usman Jonah from ABS, Ighadolor Osagona of Shooting Stars and Okey Odita of Kwara United, are among the players, ‘They Flying Antelopes’ have signed up for the coming season.
Rangers finished fifth last season and have not won a major trophy in almost three decades.
