Moses Delighted To Score Chelsea’s Winner
Victor Moses was delighted to head home the last-gasp winner for Chelsea against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Chelsea, who were beaten by Shakhtar at the Donbass Arena two weeks ago, gave up the lead twice at home to the Ukrainian champions before Moses rose to convert Juan Mata’s header with just seconds remaining.
The defending champions were outplayed for long periods by the visitors, but now find themselves level with Shakhtar on seven points at the top of Group E.
“We deserved to win the game today, particularly second half, we dominated the game,” Moses said after the game.
“I came on and only played about 10 minutes on the pitch but it was great to get a winning goal and I thought we deserved it.
“The three goals I’ve scored for the club have been headers, it’s been great for me so far so I’m just delighted.”
