Terrorists Kidnap 15 Women, One Man In Kaduna
Another orgy of horror occurred in Kaduna on Saturday when terrorists attacked the Dogon-noma community in Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State and abducted 15 women and one man.
The attack came barely three days after one person was killed, and eight women were kidnapped in the Banono Angwaku community of the same local government council.
A local, Istifanus Ma’aji, told journalists that many residents of the village ran to neighbouring communities for safety when the hoodlums attacked and shot sporadically.
He said, “We cannot authoritatively confirm the total figure, because most of the villagers ran for their lives when the attackers struck.
“We can only confirm the figure when we can access the village.”
He said the attackers invaded the village at 5.30 am on Saturday in large numbers, shooting indiscriminately.
A former council boss, Hon Cafra Caino, who confirmed the incident said: “We are yet to get the number of casualties because the locals ran for their lives at the time the assailants invaded the community. The community had, sometime in 2019, came under heavy attack where 74 people were killed and the community recently has been experiencing attacks.”
The latest incident has sent many residents of Southern Kaduna into panic with many people calling on both the State and the federal governments to come to their rescue.
The Kajuru and Chikun local government areas had in recent weeks become the hotbed of attacks and kidnapping, causing tension in the state.
The police command could not be reached to react to the incident as of the time of filing this report.
