Ceylon Marine says it would offer free training to crew members to boost fishing production in the maritime industry and impact skills to fishermen.
“Training of crew members at no cost to the company on usage of modern fishery tool like satellite technology for fishing and use of fish finder and Echo sounder”, the company stated.
Managing Director, Ceylon Marine, Mr. Chris Ajayi, said the firm is also organising an exhibition and a Prelaunch of Ceylon Mini Trawlers.
Ajayi said the event would attract massive discount, and afford fishermen and women opportunity to survey the mini trawler and its advantages over what was currently obtainable.
Ajayi revealed in a statement that every boat ordered from the exhibition would attract additional resources such as detailed feasibility study of the fishing business and showing cash flow analysis and profitability.
Other incentives include, facilitation of the provision of operational space at fisheries terminal in Lagos, Apapa and any other terminal of interest in Nigeria.
“As a way of encouraging potential investors, we offer 20% discount on the cost of acquisition of the trawler if order is placed during the Exhibition.
“This opportunity is only open to the first twenty companies to place order.
“The Prelaunch Exhibition, he said, took place at annex Boatyard Badore–Eleko beach, Lagos, from July 12,2023 to July 16,2023”, he said.
