Church Dedicates 600-Seater Cathedral In PH
Home of God Vineyard Mission, Niger Delta based pentecostal church, has dedicated a 600 capacity church cathedral at Eagle island, Port Harcourt.
General Overseer of the church, His Grace, Most Rev James Egbe, said the dedication was inline with the directive by the Holy spirit.
Egbe said the Holy spirit directed him to dedicate the cathedral this year.
He disclosed that the mission was established since 2000 with the sole vision of planting soul and preparing for the kingdom of God, equipping and authenticating them for the second coming of Christ.
Egbe said the mission is seeking for support to enable it discharge its spiritual responsibilities.
“We are soliciting for partners in progress. We are calling on you now to help us raise fund to develop the church.
“We need you or Jesus needs you to be part of this great work”, he said.
Egbe continued that the mission, since inception, has won many souls for Christ, adding that it will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the work is carried to every part of the world.
In his message, His Eminence, Musa Katsina, urged Christians to dedicate their lives to the service of God.
Archbishop Katsina, who is the founder of Fresh Anointing Impact Ministry, said the gospel of Christ must be preached across the world.
He said the ceremony was coming at a time when the society need men of God in His vineyard in view of the level of moral decadence in the society.
Katsina said many people are going astray, noting that this is the time men of God must rise up to bring those going astray to God.
Speaking, National President of Ijaw Communion of Bishops, Archbishop Alex Eseimokumoh, urged Christians to be focused and dedicated to the work of God.
He commended Archbishop Egbe for the dedication, stressing that it would further help to boost the work of God in the country.
Also speaking, Secretary, Ijaw Communion of Bishops, Archbishop Ibioku Bobmanuel, said the group is happy with Archbishop Egbe, adding that the ceremony will help in the propagation of Christianity in the region.
He also called on Christians in the region to remain peaceful and dedicated to the work of God.
The ceremony was attended by people from all walks of life.
