Obasanjo, Others Laud Kumuyi Global Evangelical Effort
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the former Zambian Vice President, Nevers Mumbai, have lauded the global evangelical effort of the General Overseer of Deeper Life Pastor William Kumuyi, Bible Church.
They said this at the virtual launching of Global Crusade With Kumuyi (GCK) monitored in Port Harcourt.
Obasanjo and the former Zambian vice president said the crusade was coming at a time when humanity was drifting apart.
According to Obasanjo, in times like this, men of God have always stood up to save humanity and pray for God to have mercy on the country.
He described Kumuyi as a God fearing man and urged Nigerians to emulate him.
For the former Zambian Vice President, Nevers Mumba, said God is using Kumuyi to impact positivily on the African continent.
He said he looked foreward to the crusade in his country.
Also speaking, a Lagos State High Court judge ,Justice Mojisola Dada said the Judiciary is in support of the global crusade.

Also speaking Pastor Edison Daminabo, chairman GCK planning committee said God has given Kumuyi the key to unlock salvation to humanity.
He said the crusade is to revamping the world ,stressing that Kumuyi has reached out to several governments across the world.
Also Pastor Iyke Okafor who spoke from the United States of America, said GCK daily was designed to reach all souls ,noting that it has passion to transform lives.
Convener of the crusade Dr .William kumuyi, said over 30 million souls will be transformed by the programme across the world.
Kumuyi said GCK will give succour to a world that is in turmoil, adding mankind is falling from grace of God.
He said the crusade was in line with Christ’s injunctions to reach all nations with the gospel.
Also the state overseer, Pastor Andrew Osagie, said the crusade has a global appeal.

RSG INAUGURATES ARMED FORCES REMEMBRANCE DAY COMMITTEE
The Rivers State Government has inaugurated a Central Planning Committee to organize the celebration of the 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day (AFRD) in the State.
The committee was formally inaugurated by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Benibo Anabraba in Port Harcourt, last Thursday.
Dr Anabraba who also serves as Chairman of the Committee
highlighted the State Government’s deep appreciation for the sacrifices of Nigeria’s fallen heroes who laid down their lives for the nation’s peace and unity.
“These heroes have given their lives for the security and peace of our nation and deserve to be celebrated. The Armed Forces Remembrance Day is an opportunity to show our gratitude for their sacrifice,” he said.
Dr. Anabraba further extended recognition to all Security Agencies in the State, emphasizing the importance of the event in appreciating their contributions to national security and sovereignty.
The annual Armed Forces Remembrance Day, observed on January 15 across the country is dedicated to remember Nigeria’s departed soldiers and honouring the nation’s veterans.
