Fubara Disowns Fake Social Media Accounts …Condoles Families Of Two Rivers Sons, Owo Church Killings

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governorship Candidate, Siminialayi Fubara, has disassociated himself from various fake social media accounts making the rounds on the Internet, purporting to be owned and operated by the candidate, and used to push unauthorised messages to Rivers people.
A statement signed by the candidate’s Deputy Media Assistant, Bon Onyedi, and made available to The Tide, said, “The attention of the PDP gubernatorial standard bearer in Rivers State for the 2023 general election, Sir Siminialayi Fubara, has been drawn to several Facebook and social media accounts (Twitter, Instagram etc) attributed to him bearing his name and photograph.
“Sequel to such unauthorised infiltrations, we bring to the notice of the general public that the only approved and authorised official social media handles of the candidate are: ‘Amaopusenibo Siminialayi Fubara, KSC, FCA’ on Facebook, ‘@SimFubaraKSC’ on Twitter and ‘@simfubaraksc’ on Instagram.
“We hope this will put an end to such several unauthorised social media accounts used to send messages that did not emanate from the candidate.
“Hence, we implore Rivers people and the general public to disregard any of those social media handles operated by impostors”.
Meanwhile, the gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 general election in Rivers State, Siminialayi Fubara, has condoled with the families of two sons of the state, Barrister Prince Motats and Hon. Vincent Onimiteim Samuel, who lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident on their way back to Port Harcourt after the APC Presidential primaries in Abuja.
In a statement signed by his Deputy Media Assistant, Bon Onyedi, Fubara noted that as committed Rivers people, it was painful to have lost such promising lives in their prime.
Speaking shortly after an event in Opobo, last Sunday, Fubara also commiserated with the families and people of Ondo State on the gruesome murder of worshippers at a Catholic Church in Owo by dare devil hoodlums.
Lamenting the killing of the worshippers at a time the country is trying to find lasting solutions to its myriad of problems, he noted that such dastardly acts undermine the peace and security that Nigerians are yearning for.
He prayed for the repose of their souls and asked God to grant their families the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and for the quick recovery of those who sustained various injuries at both incidents.
