Enugu Assembly Passes State Road Maintenance Agency Bill
The Enugu State House of Assembly has passed the State Road Maintenance Agency Bill.
The passage of the bill in Enugu yesterday followed the presentation of a report by the House Committee Chairman on Works, Mr Chima Obieze, during the plenary.
In the report, Obieze said the Works committee, in conjunction with the committees on Transport and Judiciary, considered the content of the bill critically, with special focus on its merits.
While contributing, the lawmaker representing Ezeagu Constituency, said that the Agency, when set up, would assist in maintaining both rural and urban roads.
