Eguma Optimistic Of Victory Against Remo Stars
The technical manager of Rivers United FC of Port Harcourt, Stanley Eguma, has said that they are working very hard to ensure victory against Remo Stars on Sunday in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
According to him, they are going to approach the game with lots of zeal and commitment adding that, Remo Stars have showed sample of a good side in the league this season.
Eguma made the assertion last Monday in his post-match interview with sports journalists shortly after the pride of Rivers defeated Heartland FC 3-1 in the match day eight of the NPFL at the Adokiye Amiesimaka stadium in Port Harcourt.
He stated that, they are not going to take the match for granted knowing what is at stake, as they going to fashion out the strategies to ensure they secure victory against Remo stars in the match nine of the NPFL.
The number one coach of the State also stated that, there is some improvement in the team saying that, they are working and training the players for them to deliver at the end of the season.
“We are going to approach the match with lots of zeal and commitment.
Remo stars have shown some sample of a good side this season.
We are going to fashion out some strategies to ensure we go to Remo and come out with good result.
We are not going there to lose any points knowing what is at stake” Eguma said.
He hails his boys (players) performance against Heartland FC saying that, no game is easy.
For IshaqKayode been the top scorer with seven goals this season, Eguma said it is too early to jump into conclusion about who become the highest goal scorer in NPFL.
