NDBDA Directors Laud Songhai Farm Project

Members of the Board of Directors of Niger Delta Basin Development Authority (NDBDA), have commended the Songhai Farm initiated by the management of the authority at Kpong in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The Chairman of the board, Chisso Abdullahi Dallijo made the commendation during an assessment visit to the project farm in Kpong Community in Khana LGA recently.
Dallijo commended the management of the agency for the progress of work done at the Songhai Farm project, adding that he was excited on the progress of work achieved so far within the shortest period.
The chairman who was represented on the project assessment tour by Senator Mohammed Dudu expressed satisfaction with the on- going project, stressing that the project when completed, will transform the lives of the people and be a major economic venture for the nation at large.
“We are excited with what we have seen and within the next five years, the board will witness upsurge of growth and diversification. Engr Tonye David West is doing marvellously well, “he added.
He used the opportunity to commend the resilience and commitment of all management and staff especially those of the Engineering Unit for the various feats achieved in the board within the shortest time which, according to him, has made the project a reality and assured of their support and willingness to support the management achieve its mandate and objectives in the agency”.
