Firm Lauds RSG’s Efforts, Donates Palliatives
Siat Nigeria Limited, a Palm Oil Development and Processing Company says it has made a donation of 350 (25 litre) jerry cans of crude palm to the Rivers State Government, and 50 (25 litre) jerry cans to Ikwerre Local Government.
Speaking during the presentation in Port Harcourt, the Public Relations Manager of Siat Nigeria Ltd, Mr. Lucky Ezihuo said the donation was made on behalf of the Board, management and staff of Siat to support the palliative measures and efforts of the state government towards providing for the needy and vulnerable in the state. Mr Ezihuo commended the efforts and strategies put in place by the state government towards combating the pandemic, and said that “we in Siat Nigeria fervently believe that with all hands on deck, we shall overcome the menace”.government towards combating the pandemic, and said that “we in Siat Nigeria fervently believe that with all hands on deck, we shall overcome the menace”.
Receiving the donation on behalf of the Governor of Rivers State, Chief Nyesom Wike, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr Tammy Danagogo, in company of the Rivers State Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr Fred Kpakol, thanked Siat Nigeria Limited for the kind donation at this critical time and said the state government would continue to support and provide the enabling environment for investors in the state to operate.
