Nigeria Will Survive 2019 Elections – CAN President
The President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Rev. Samson Ayokunle has said there is no need for Nigerians to express fear over the forthcoming general elections, saying there would not be crisis during and after the election.
He, however, said there was a need for all stakeholders in the election to play the game according to the rule.
The CAN President stated this at the service of carols and lessons, organised by the Ondo State Government, on Friday evening.
The programme was held at the International Event Center, Akure, the state capital.
Ayokunle said, “The apprehension before 2015 General election was much higher than this, even the international community said Nigeria would scatter after the election but God took control.
“So for me whatever the devil may be doing, Nigeria would survive the next election. The politicians are very desperate to win the election but it would only take the person with a heart of God to win”.
