Aguma: Saraki, Mark Commiserate WithWike
Former Senate President, David Mark has commiserated with the government and people of Rivers State over the untimely death of the late Attorney-General of Rivers State, Hon Emmanuel Aguma (SAN).
Speaking during a condolence visit on Governor Wike at the Government House, Port Harcourt on Saturday, Senator Mark said that death is an inevitable end of every human being.
The PDP presidential aspirant said his visit was purely for condolence purposes, pointing out that he would visit the state on campaign very soon.
He said: “We are called to greater good when we die. This is not a political visit. It is purely to condole with the government and people of Rivers State over the death of the Attorney General.”
He prayed God to comfort the bereaved family, the government and people of Rivers State over the sad loss.
In his remarks, Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike thanked the former Senate President for the condolence visit.
He said that though the late Attorney-General of Rivers State has been buried, the people of the state still mourn him.
The governor said that the late Attorney-General of Rivers State was a committed and loyal public officer who contributed his quota to the growth of the state.
Governor Wike said that the former Senate president has always been a friend of Rivers State since his days in the military.
Senator Mark was accompanied on the visit by members of his campaign organisation which included: Director General of the David Mark Campaign Organisation, Senator Zainab Kure, Former Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba and legal luminary, Kenneth Ikonne.
