Lawmaker Extols Wike’s Education Policy
A member of the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Tekenari Wellington Granville has extolled the education policy of the Governor Nyesom Wike administration and advised the youth in his constituency to take advantage of it.
Hon. Granville who was speaking with The Tide yesterday said he was encouraged by the present administration’s policy on education to provide JAMB forms for 216 youth across the six wards in his constituency.
According to him, education is about the best gift any government can give to its people, adding that only education could divert the attention of the youth from negative influences.
Hon. Grancille said because he wants the candidates to make the constituency proud, he had asked them to collect money for transportation to the examination venue from the coordinators of the free JAMB form programme.
Hon. Granville who represents Asari-Toru Constituency 1 in the Rivers State House of Assembly wished the candidates success and urged them to attract more programme like this by performing very well in the examination.
