The President, Awka
Chamber of Commerce , Industries , Mines and Agriculture (AWKACCIMA), Mr Ndubuisi Nwobu, has lauded Gov. Wille Obiano’s industrialistion drive in Anambra.
He told newsmen in Awka on Saturday that the policies of the administration had helped in attracting investors to the state.
“The establishment of the Anambra State Investment Promotion and Protection Agency (ANSIPPA) is another plus in the bid to develop industries in the state and to create jobs,” he said.
He noted that the headlong fight against hoodlums being championed by the administration had created the enabling environment in the state,
“The Obiano-led administration knows that security is one of the cardinal steps to be taken in attracting investors from any part of the world.
“The government has made progress as it has ensured that industries thrive in the state.’’
Nwobu said areas such as steady power supply and interest-free loans should be given attention.
He also advised the government to address the issue of multiple taxes without further in order not to drive away prospective investors.
The AWKACCIMA president urged stakeholders to embrace the wheels of development in the state particularly the agricultural sector.
The Tide source reports that the governor’s four pillars of developments are oil and gas, commerce and industry, agriculture and industralisation.
