The government will later host a state bouquet in honour of the President at the Bouquet Hall of Government House in Yenagoa.
On Saturday, May 30, an interdenominational thanksgiving service will be organised at St. Peters Anglican Church, Yenagoa, after which the President will be hosted to a state luncheon at the bouquet hall, Yenagoa.
Underscoring the reason for the reception, Kikile noted that the state government wanted to use the occasion to showcase the affection of Bayelsa people to Jonathan, and thank God for successfully completing his tenure in office.
