Rivers Election Tribunal Receives 17 Petitions
The Rivers State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja yesterday said that it had so far received 17 petitions from 2015 general elections.
The Tribunal Secretary, Mrs Deborah Musa, who did not give the breakdown, made this known in an interview in Abuja.
It will be recalled that the tribunal relocated to Abuja following security threats.
Musa had in a statement stated that the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, approved the relocation of the tribunal to Abuja.
Musa, however, said the tribunal would be sitting at Court 20 and Court 23 of the Apo High Court complex in Abuja.
