Islamisation Of Nigeria: Brainless, Cheap Propaganda -Asita
The deputy governorship
candidate of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Rivers State, Honourable Okorie Asita has described as brainless, immoral and cheap, the sustained allegation that the presidential candidate of the APC General Muhammadu Buhari will Islamise Nigeria when he wins the presidential election later this month.
Asita said this at Obi Wali Conference Centre during an interactive session between non-indigenes in Rivers State and the APC Presidential Campaign Organisation led by its presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari in Port Harcourt.
The deputy governorship candidate who described the never-ending Islamization theory as a ruse, said the huge deficit in government today makes it impossible for conscious Nigerians to remember the lies of the proponents of Islamization.
He called on PDP to look for a more creative lie because Nigerians are sick and tired of the incompetence and misrule that this present administration represents.
He wondered why those who were obtaining loans from Islamic Banks, attending meetings of Organisation of Islamic Conference, (OIC) and building Almanjiri Schools in Northern Nigeria were still the same people who turned around to accuse others. He described the tragic end of this government as a lesson for all Nigerians, adding that voters in this part of the world would never again be taken for granted by incompetent and clueless government.
He pleaded with South-South voters to vote for only competent candidates and to reject those who depend on misinformation and emotional blackmail to win votes.
He described his ticket with Dr. Dakuku Peterside, governorship candidate as balanced and a partnership that would change the face of public administration in Rivers State.
