All the 194 staff of the 23 Local Government Councils in Rivers State who registered for this year’s compulsory confirmation promotion examination conducted by Establishment Training and Pensions Bureau are to repeat it next year.
The directive followed the absence of the 194 staff during the closing ceremony of the exercise.
The Permanent Secretary, Establishment Training and Pension Bureau, Sir, Gift Chima Ake who disclosed this during the closing ceremony for the exercise, said that the measure was aimed at restoring law and order in the civil service and to serve as deterrent to others.
