Enebeli Lauds RSG Over Jerusalem Pilgrimage
The leader of the first batch of pilgrims to the Holy Land, Justice Adolphus Enebeli, has commended the government for its efforts towards a hitch free exercise.
Speaking from Jerusalem, Justice Enebeli spotlighted the transparent honest leadership qualities of Monsignor John Wangbu for the successful conduct of the exercise.
According to him, every Rivers pilgrim is being given a sense of belonging in the Holy land.
Justice Enebeli appealed to beneficiaries to ensure that they bring to bear their spiritual rejuvenation with all aspects of their life to ensure the overall socio-economic up fitment of Rivers State.
Meanwhile, a total of 892 pilgrims from Rivers State have so far been successfully airlifted to the Holy land for this year’s pilgrimage.
The Chairman of the State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Very Reverend Monsignor John Wangbu disclosed this in a telephone interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt over the weekend.
Monsignor Wangbu reiterated the determination of the board to strictly adhere to its operational guidelines in realisation of set objectives.
Monsignor Wangbu, outlined the adequate arrangement so far made to ensure the participation of all pilgrims shortlisted for this year’s exercise.
