Armed Forces Remembrance Day Begins
An Inter-denominational church service marking the Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration holds today at 10.00am at the St Cyprian’s Anglican Church, Hospital Road, Port Harcourt.
The celebration which commenced last Thursday with Emblem Appeal Fund Launching at the main bowl of the Alfred Diette-Spiff Civic Centre also had a Juma’at service last Friday at the Rivers State Central Mosque, 208 Niger Street, Port Harcourt.
According to a release signed by Samuel O. Ibemeru, Director of Press, Office of the Secretary to the State Government made available to The Tide On Sunday, the Wreath Laying ceremony will take place at Isaac Boro Park, Port Harcourt on Monday, January 15, 2010 at 10.00am.
