Dump Strike Action, Minister Tells Aviation Workers
The Aviation Minister, Mr Babatunde Omotoba has appealed to aviation workers not to embark on their planned strike action.
A statement signed by the minister, reminded the union leaders that the federal government was yet to receive their grievances on paper, adding that negotiation with the union was on-going.
Similarly, the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Mr Adetokubo Kayode urged the union leaders to forward all their grievances to the ministry for dialogue as agreed with the two ministries a week ago.
In a statement signed by the Ministry’s Assistant Director for Press, Mr Samuel Oluo-Wokere said the union can not embark on any strike action since all the available options have not been explored.
