Continue To Kill Terrorists Without Mercy, Army Tasks Troops

The Theatre Commander of the Joint Task Force (JTF), North-East Operation Hadin Kai, Major General Christopher Musa, has urged the troops of the Nigerian Army to remain disciplined and committed to neutralising terrorists in the region.
Musa gave the admonition during a visit to the troops of 26 Task Force Brigade at the Bde Headquarters, Gwoza, 192 Bn Headquarters, and FOB Rann and 3 Bn in Gamboru, Borno State, last Saturday.
He assured the troops of the unrelenting efforts of the Theatre predicated on the directives of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Faruk Yahaya, that all troops who have served in the Theatre for two years should be adequately rotated.
While relaying the commendations of the Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor, and Service Chiefs, the Theatre Commander enjoined the troops to remain disciplined to neutralising the Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists hibernating within the North-East region and the fringes of Lake Chad.
“We have only one work which is to neutralise terrorists; sustain the momentum and continue to make the Nigerian Army proud by neutralising all terrorists you came in contact with,” Musa said.
Theatre Commander was accompanied by the Theatre Logistics Component Commander, Brig.-Gen E.H. Akpan; the Theatre Intelligence Coordinator, Col. O.M. Azuikpe; Commander NA UAV COMD, Col. I. Sule; and the Ch J1, Col. U.G. Okodaso.
