OPM Commissions Free Specialist Hospital
As part of efforts to reduce maternal mortality in Nigeria, a religious organisation Omega Power Ministry (OPM) has commissioned a new free Specialist Hospital in Aluu community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The new free hospital, called OPM Free Specialist Hospital is expected to render 24 hours services to Nigerians irrespective of their tribe and religion.
Speaking at the commissioning last Wednesday, the General Overseer of the ministry, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere stated that the healthcare facility would offer the best services free of charge to whoever visited the hospital seeking for medical treatment.
Chinyere emphasised that the healthcare hospital would also offer free quality healthcare to pregnant women, who out of lack of money could not go to register for their antenatal to ensure safe and healthy delivery of their babies.
‘There was no need for those pregnant women, who don’t have money to entertain any fear, as OPM Free Specialist has come to wipe away their fears and to give them hope,” he said stressing that the hospital have the best facility in the world.
“Ladies and gentlemen, my dear brothers and sisters in the faith the hospital which we are going to visit right now, all the rooms are suites that is to say that they have their own toilets, bathrooms, Bibles, fully air conditioned, with fridges and television for comfort and relaxation.
“Now can you imagine, a woman will be pregnant from one month to nine months and she has not registered at the hospital because of lack of money, but right now they will come and register free of charge and not only that they will be given starter packs, which contains new born wears for them to use on their babies after delivery.”
