Falcons Draw Ghana, Mali In Women’s AFCON
Defending champions,
Nigeria’s Super Falcons have drawn West African rivals Ghana and Mali in the women’s AFCON to be staged in Cameroon in November.
Kenya is the other team in Group B.
Mali replaced Equatorial Guinea, who were disqualified for fielding an ineligible player in the qualifiers.
Hosts Cameroon are pitched against South Africa, Egypt and Zimbabwe.
South Africa and Zimbabwe featured at the recent Rio Olympics.
Nigeria beat Cameroon 2-0 in the last championship in Namibia two years ago.
