SIAT: BOT Boss Charges Members On City
The Landlords of SIAT
(former Risonpalm) Elele Estate have been charged to unite in order to address some of the issues facing them as a group.
The Chairman, Board of Trustees, SIAT Elele Landlords Association, Chief Aaron Chukwu, gave the charge in a meeting with the landlords Saturday in Elele.
He noted that time has come for the landlords to speak in one voice in order to enable them achieve their goals.
Chukwu, recalled that through regular meeting, the association recorded high benefits and emphasised on the need to renew the system.
The SIAT BOT boss, also called on the new caretaker chairman of the group, Mr Hycenth Amadi, to ensure that he introduced a radical policy that will transform the group.
The former chairman of the association, Mr Sam Eke, who regretted leading his people when the then Risonpalm was in deep crisis, said he moved against all odds and provided a safe landing ground for all concerned communities.
He stressed that the standard of the group ought to be maintained, as he advised against the spirit of divide and rule.
Also speaking, the new Caretaker Committee Chairman, Mr Hycent Amadi, called on the members to arise and fight for that which rightfully belongs to them.
He specifically, appealed to the youths of the communities to give him their unalloyed support, as to enable him get the best for them.
The Tide learnt that the association appointed a 10-man committee to manage its affairs until elections are conducted.
The members are, Mr Tony Wonah, vice chairman, Godpower Nlerum secretary, Nathan Abraham treasurer, Godday Wosanma organising secretary while Harrison Lekwuwa would serve as public Relations Officer.
Others include Chidi Omere; financial secretary, while Elders Princewill Chioma, Saida Okedi and Joseph Ikuku are to serve as special members /advisers
