Forum Mobilises For Voters Registration
The Rivers State
Chapter of Goodluck Voters Forum, a socio-political organisation has commenced the mobilisation of its members across the state for the forth-coming voters registration exercise in the state.
The state co-ordinator of the forum, Comrade Etete Sunday Nicodemus, in an interview with newsmen in Port Harcourt said that the group viewed the registration and collection of Permanent Voters Card (PVC) as a very important step towards the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan.
He said that it was against this background that the forum was mobilising its members across the 23 local government areas towards full participation in the exercise.
The state co-ordinator further said that the forum was in full support of the administration of President Jonathan, noting that in spite of the security challenges in the country, the administration had remained focused and committed to the ideals of united Nigeria, a feat he said, deserved commendation from all Nigerians.
Also speaking, the National Director, Contact and Mobilisation of the forum, Mr Mbubu Charles Mbubu also directed all its members nationwide to partake in the INEC Voters registration and collection for permanent voters card.
Mr Mbubu also said that membership of the forum was open to all Nigerians interested in the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan and commended the Rivers State chapter for its achievements so far.
