Church Management Confab Holds In PH
The 2014 National Con
ference on Church Management opens in Port Harcourt on Monday, November 10.
The conference which has as its theme: Nation-Building Through Effective Kingdom Service in the workplace will have in attendance, the Rivers State Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, Rev. (Dr) Musa Asake, General Secretary, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), while Prof. Alex Atawa Akpodiete is the guest speaker.
A statement signed by President, CMS Ministry, Dr. Kayode Nissi and Secretary, South-South CAN, and Chairman, Conference Planning Committee, Rev. (Dr) Felix Ekiye, said that the event would be co-chaired by Archbishop God-Dowell Oyibo Avwomakpa, Ambassador Boboye Oyeyemi and Apostle Zilly Aggrey.
Also to be in attendance are the Commissioner for Information and Communications, Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, Pastor Oluwatoyin Alabi, Pastor F.A.J Titus and the Head of Service, Rivers State, Barr S.T. LongJohn,
According to the statement, the conference will feature lectures, syndicate group discussions/report as well as an Annual Awards and Dinner.
“It is our expectation that church leaders from South South Zone and Rivers State in particular will use the advantage of the conference holding in Port Harcourt to attend maximally by mobilising their members”, it said.
