Mainone, Smile Seal Long-Term Pact
Mainone and Smile commu
nications have signed a contract agreement for the purchase of long-term capacity on the mainone network.
Mainone is a telecommunciations service company and Smile Communciations is a provider of 4G LTE broadband interest services.
The Agreement signing took In Lagos on Thursday would extend the tenure of Smiles existing services with mainone and add significant growth to support Smile’s growth push in the Nigerian market.
The Chief Sales Marketing Officer of Mainone, Mr Folu Adelibigbe, said that the agreement with Smile would not only strengthen broad band penetration in the country, but empower future generations to be competitive and tech-savvy.
He said, “This project is an important example of Mainone’s commitment to bring high-speed broadband access to Africa and we are proud to be providing international capacity to Smile Communications, thereby supporting their efforts in ensuring broad based economic growth in Nigeria.
The Group Chief operating officer, Smile Communications, Mr Tom Allen noted that the Smile’s initiative to connect with Mainone would provide an opportunity for its clients to interact and engage in e-commerce activities, product advertising and online surveys thereby achieving the goal of making the world a global village.
In its four years of operation, Mainone has reportedly emerged the preferred provider of bandwidth connectivity solutions to leading organization in Nigeria.
