NCAA Concludes Audit Of DANA Airline
The audit of Dana Airline has been concluded, the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority said in a press statement on Sunday in Ikeja.
The statement was signed by Mr Fan Ndubuoke, the authority’s spokesman.
It said Capt. Fola Akinkuotu, the Director-General of the NCAA, adjudged the outcome of the audit concluded on Friday, December 13, as good and healthy.
It said, “The Director-General described the exercise as painstaking, professional and transparent, involving the NCAA Flight Standard Group in conjunction with their foreign partners.”
The statement quoted the director-general as saying the NCAA would meet with Dana Air officials during which their action plan for closing “open items’’ would be reviewed and agreed upon.
It said that consultations would also be made to determine a possible date for the resumption of flight operations.
The statement also quoted Akinkuotu as saying that from now, the audit would be an annual exercise for all airlines, including Dana Air.
