Kaduna Port Depot Manager Worried Over Poor Patronage
The Depot Manager of
Kaduna Inland Container Company, Mr Ahmed Toyin has expressed concern over poor patronage of the port.
Toyin told our correspondent in Kaduna last Monday, that the problem was due to the closure of many industries in the state.
He said that the situation was a major challenge, but expressed optimism that activities would soon pick up with the revival of the rail system.
Toyin advised those in port business in Kaduna to patronise the company to get efficient services.
He promised that the port would effectively transfer containers from seaports to the depot without the usual frustrations associated with such procedures.
Toyin said the company would clear containers from the sea ports and take them to the dry port within three days.
“We assist you to clear your goods at your convenience with less cumbersome documentation processes,’’ he said.
