The Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation (NTDC) says it has set up a tourism desk at the nation’s international airports for easy access to tourist sites.
The South-West Zonal Coordinator of the corporation, Mr Nasir Kaka made the disclosure to newsmen yesterday in Ikeja, Lagos State.
Kaka said that the desk was to enable tourists visit their choice of tourist sites and hotels without difficulty.
“The desk is at the arrival hall of the airports and it is being handled by the corporation’s staff.
“The desk will also complement the tour guide being introduced by the corporation.”
Our staff at the airport help by informing them of the preferred hotel to stay and the location of the sites and how to go about them,” Kaka said.
The coordinator said that the corporation would soon come out with more innovations that would attract more tourists to the country.
