Cleric Tasks Cultists On Fear Of God
The General Overseer of Perfection World Ministry International, Eligbolo, Port Harcourt, Prophet Victor Uzoma, has called on cultists and other criminal elements terrorizing the state to lay down their arms and embrace God for the betterment of the society.
Prophet Uzoma, who said this in an interview with newsmen shortly after a special church service in Eligbolo Town, also called on Nigerians not to lose hope in the country, saying that Nigeria will bounce back as the giant of Africa.
The cleric also appealed to President Muhammadu Buhari to look into the plight of Nigerians, particularly the youths, to reduce the high level of insecurity and other challenges confronting the country.
The cleric further stressed the need for Nigerians to jettison the agitation for the disintegration of the country, stressing that Nigeria is in the hands of God and will overcome her present challenges.
Prophet Uzoma also commended Governor Nysesom Wike for rejiging the state security architecture through the launch of the “Operation Sting, noting that the outfit will surely check the spate of insecurity in the state.
He also called on religious leaders, irrespective of denominations, to pray fervently for sustainable peace and development of the country, while also appealing to those leaving the shores of Nigeria for greener pastures in foreign countries to return and join hands to develop the country.
Meanwhile, Prophet Victor Uzoma has called on Christians to exhibit the virtue of sacrifice to attract God’s blessings.
Stating this in a sermon titled: “The Speakable sacrifice”, the cleric said the greatest spiritual force of every Christian is not that of prayers, but the force of sacrifice.
He also said every problem is surmountable before God, adding that God sent him to proffer solutions to human problems.
