Seven Ships With PMS, Fertiliser, Others Arrive Eastern Port, Today
The Management of Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA ) says a total of seven ships laden with different cargoes will arrive four Eastern Ports today.
The four Ports are Rivers Port Complex, Onne, Calabar and Warri Ports, all located in South-South, Nigeria.
The Ports are involved in the export and import of goods and Services in the region and beyond
NPA stated this in its weekly Shipping Position, copy of which was made available to newsmen.
The ships, it stated, would arrive at different berths and terminals to discharge its cargoes.
NPA gave the names of the vessels for Rivers Port Complex as Kings and Crowned Eagle.
Asian Pride and Carl Schulte vessels will berth at Onne Port, while Calabar and Warri Ports will welcome Riser Anne, Celsia and Safe sea vessels at their various terminals and harbours respectively.
The Authority gave the names of the shipping Agents for Rivers Port as Fountain Shipping and Blue Star, and agents for Onne Port are Samcham and Maersk Nig Limited.
Calabar and Warri Ports Agents are Fountain Shipping and West Atlantic Ports Services respectively.
The Publication noted that the seven ships were laden with Premium Motor Spirits (PMS), Bulk fertilizer, and Bulk Salt.
Other Cargos in the ships include Float Glass and Containers respectively.
The Authority noted that the arrival of the ships would boost and stimulate Socio- economic activities in region.
It appealed to investors and shippers to patronize the Ports in the region for safe and quick delivering of goods and services to enhance trading activities in the South-South
