Ogu/Bolo LG Chairman Goes Tough On Illegal Bunkerers
The Chairman of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Barrister Vincent Nemieboka has led members of the Task Force on Illegal Bunkering round the creeks in Ogu/Bolo LGA in search of sites used for illegal bunkering activities.
He also used the avenue to warn anyone involved in such nefarious activities to desist forthwith or face unpleasant consequences.
Nemieboka also ordered security agencies in the area to apprehend and prosecute anyone involved in refining, transporting and trading in illegal crude oil products, and also destroy such facilities.
The chairman was accompanied on the search mission by security agencies stationed in Ogu/Bolo and members of the task force.
