Grow Yourselves In Knowledge Of God, Wike Urges Christians
The Rivers State Chief Executive, Chief Nyesom Wike has expressed the need for Christians to grow themselves in the knowledge of God, have faith and ensure they stay connected with what God has proposed in their lives.
Wike stated this during the 25th Anniversary of Kingdom Life Gospel Outreach International, Jesus Cathedral, at Oroazi, Port Harcourt, yesterday.
Represented by his Deputy, Dr. Ipalibo Harry Banigo, Wike, who said he would continue to partner with churches that engage in aggressive missionary work, encouraged the Kingdom Life Gospel Outreach Ministries not to relent in the propagation of the gospel, noting that soul winning was the heart of God.
“The one that wins a soul is wise so I am always looking for the wisdom to win souls for God, the harvest is ready but the labourers are few God is calling us to be part of reaping the harvest”, he further stressed.
Wike, who thanked the church for being a part of the prayer team praying for the success of his administration, said our God answers prayers and this is our season of unending wonders and multiple breakthroughs.
In his remarks, the General Overseer of the Kingdom Life Gospel Outreach Ministries, Bishop Victor Uzossike, who said God has been faithful in the past 25 years of his ministry, disclosed that the church was born out of hospitals and schools and street evangelism.
According to him, the greatest achievement all these years was seeing the lives of people being transformed, that the four pillars in his ministry includes, discovering destinies, recovering destinies, fulfilling destinies and leaving a legacy.
