Cleric Tasks Parents On Children’s Education
The District Pastor of Faith Tabernacle Congregation Nigeria, (FTCN), Port Harcourt District, Pastor Gabriel Farayola has stressed the need for parents and guardians to train their children and wards in the fear of God so that when they grow up they would not depart from it.
Farayola made the call during an award and performance ceremony by the participants of the 2nd edition of the 2018 Children Youth Summit programme held at the church auditorium in Port Harcourt recently.
The cleric averred that it was worth to invest on the proper upbringing of children in the right direction who would become useful citizens and work in the fear of God and charged the children to put into practice the gains of their training.
The man of God thanked all for their contributions to make the programme a huge success.
In his brief remarks, Bro. Charles Alor-Nnamdi highlighted some programmes during the exercise and noted that both the female and male participants performed creditably during the programme.
Also speaking, the Head of Protocol, Bro. John Peters said the programme would remain memorable experience as it afforded them time to learn and study many things and gave glory to God for the privilege and opportunity for the success of the camp, even as he expressed optimism that next year’s programme would be more successful.
Highlights of the occasion was the presentation of gifts and certificates to outstanding participants in all groups while Bro. Uchenna Abaeze and family won the early camp arrival award 2017, 2018 among others.
